The Talent Excellence Centre (TEC) is dedicated to empowering our workforce through strategic talent management and development. We focus on key areas such as competency and succession planning, comprehensive training programs, career advancement support, and study leave and scholarship opportunities. Our mission is to align staff aspirations with organizational goals, fostering a thriving environment where we can grow, lead, and achieve excellence.

Functions

Our Core Functions:

Competency and Succession Planning: We ensure the sustainability of leadership by identifying and nurturing potential leaders, creating clear pathways for succession that align with the University’s long-term vision.
Training & Talent Development Courses/Programs: We design and deliver innovative training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of our team members, ensuring they remain at the forefront of their fields.
Career Advancement Activities: We provide robust support for career progression through mentorship programs, sabbatical, research and conferences, and tailored development plans to help staff achieve their career goals.
Study Leave and Scholarships: We offer opportunities for further education and skill enhancement through study leave and scholarship programs, promoting academic and professional excellence.
